A Beauty Pioneer
In 1973 Anne-Marie de Spa, arguably New Zealand's founding Beauty Therapist, created Jouvence in a gracious old villa on Holmwood Road, Christchurch. The name stemming from the French ‘la fontaine de Jouvence’ literally translating to 'the fountain of youth’. To this day, she still owns and operates Jouvence at its original, iconic Merivale address. Its enduring reputation for excellence is testament to Anne-Marie's relentless commitment to absolute care for every client that walks through its doors.
